Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Services

Infrastructure That Makes Releases Boring — By Design

"It works on staging" is not a deployment strategy. We build cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability systems that turn production releases into a non-event — no all-hands, no rollback prayers, no 3am pages.

CORE CAPABILITIES

What We Build on DevOps Engagements

CI/CD Pipeline Engineering

  • GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI pipelines designed for your branching strategy
  • Automated test gates: unit, integration, and E2E tests must pass before any deployment
  • Build artifact management: Docker image registry, versioned artifact storage
  • Environment promotion workflows: dev → staging → production with approval gates

Kubernetes & Container Orchestration

  • EKS (AWS), GKE (GCP), or self-managed K8s cluster design and deployment
  • Helm chart authoring and versioning for all application workloads
  • Horizontal Pod Autoscaler and Cluster Autoscaler configuration
  • GitOps with ArgoCD or Flux for declarative, auditable cluster state management

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

  • Full Terraform module library for your infrastructure stack
  • Remote state management with S3 + DynamoDB locking
  • Terraform Cloud or Atlantis for team-based, PR-gated infrastructure changes
  • Drift detection and infrastructure audit tooling

Observability Stack

  • Metrics: Prometheus + Grafana, or Datadog with custom dashboards
  • Logs: structured JSON logging centralized with CloudWatch, Loki, or ELK
  • Traces: OpenTelemetry instrumentation across all services, Jaeger or Datadog APM
  • Alerts: PagerDuty or OpsGenie routing with runbook links embedded in alert payloads
  • SLO/SLA dashboards for uptime, error rate, and latency targets

Security & Secrets Management

  • AWS IAM least-privilege policies for all services and humans
  • Secrets rotation with AWS Secrets Manager or HashiCorp Vault
  • VPC design: subnet isolation, security groups, and NACLs
  • Container image scanning with Trivy or Snyk in CI pipeline
  • Audit logging: CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and Security Hub alerts

Cost Optimization

  • Resource right-sizing analysis: EC2, RDS, and EKS node group sizing
  • Reserved Instance and Savings Plan recommendations
  • S3 lifecycle policies and CloudFront caching optimization
  • Spot instance configuration for non-critical batch and background workloads
  • Monthly cost tagging reports and anomaly alerts

HOW WE WORK

The Infrastructure Delivery Process

WEEK 1

Infrastructure Audit & Design

Existing infrastructure audit (if applicable), target architecture design, cost estimate, security posture review, and a written infrastructure plan signed before work begins.

WEEKS 1–3

Foundation Build

Terraform modules, VPC and networking, IAM policies, secrets management, and baseline CI/CD pipeline. Your infrastructure — in your cloud account — from the first commit.

WEEKS 3–6

Application Integration & Observability

Application workload deployment, Kubernetes or ECS configuration, full observability stack deployment, and runbook creation for on-call teams.

FINAL SPRINT

Hardening, Load Testing & Handover

Security scanning, load testing, disaster recovery test, cost optimization pass, and documentation handover. Your team inherits a system they can operate independently.

WHY HARDENED SOFT

What Every DevOps Engagement Delivers

Infrastructure you own — not infrastructure you rent from us. Every Terraform module, pipeline, and runbook is transferred to your accounts at close. Zero-downtime is a baseline requirement, not a premium feature. Senior infrastructure engineers who've operated systems at scale, on your engagement from day one.
FAQ

Common Questions About Cloud & DevOps Engineering

We already have infrastructure running — can you improve it without a full rewrite?

Yes. We start with an audit, identify the highest-risk and highest-value changes, and address them incrementally. A full Terraform migration of existing click-ops infrastructure is a common engagement for us.

Do you manage our infrastructure on an ongoing basis?

We offer both project-based (build and hand over) and retainer-based (ongoing management and on-call) engagements. The choice depends on whether you want to build an internal infrastructure team or outsource the function.

Which cloud provider do you recommend?

AWS for most cases — widest service breadth, mature tooling ecosystem, and deepest Terraform provider support. We'll give you a cost-benefit breakdown for AWS vs. GCP vs. Azure based on your specific workload profile if needed.

What does "zero-downtime deployment" actually require?

Health check endpoints on every service, blue/green or rolling update strategy, database migration strategies that don't require app downtime (expand/contract pattern), and automated rollback triggered by health check failure. We design for all of this from the start.

How do you handle SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001 compliance requirements?

We build the infrastructure controls that compliance frameworks require — encryption, audit logging, access control, vulnerability scanning, and monitoring. We are not a compliance auditor, but our infrastructure is structured to make your audit evidence collection straightforward.

Ready to start a project?

No sales scripts — just an honest technical conversation about your requirements, timeline, and budget. Requesting an infrastructure audit? Mention it — we'll tailor the first call.
